Cable
Tethered chargers have a cable fixed to the unit. Untethered ones have a socket and you use your car's own cable.
Where is your fuse box (consumer unit)?
This helps us plan the cable route. Not sure? Pick "Not sure" and we'll check at the survey.
Roughly how far from the fuse box to where you park?
Extras
Only if you need them. We'll tell you at the survey if any are required.

Questions
EV charger questions
Most standard home installations take around half a day. We'll let you know if yours needs longer after the survey.
Yes - we carry out a free, no-obligation survey (in person or with photos) to check your supply, fuse box and cable route, then confirm your final price.
For a home charger you'll usually need a driveway or other private off-street parking space next to the property.
The Hypervolt Home 3 Pro is built to work with solar. If you have or are planning solar panels, tell us and we'll recommend the best set-up for your home.
A tethered charger has its cable fixed on, so you just plug into the car. A socketed charger is neater and you use your car's own cable. The Easee One and Zaptec Go can lock your cable in permanently, so they work like a tethered charger too.
No. All the chargers we supply have built-in PEN fault protection, so an earth rod isn't needed - which keeps installation simpler and tidier.
Not always. Older or full fuse boxes may need an upgrade to safely add a charger - we'll check this at the survey and explain the options.
Yes. We notify your network operator (DNO) about the charger on your behalf as part of the installation.
